Objectives: 

During this course, participants will explore the most important elements not to neglect to avoid a burnout culture in schools by:

  • discovering the main signs and symptoms to look out for
  • reviewing the internal and external factors that contribute to stressful situations
  • analysing the latest psychological research on stress management.
  • discussing how to implement efficient self-care strategies for everyone in your school.
  • reflecting on non violent communication as a tool to facilitate collaboration and a healthy work culture .
  • learning how to anticipate moments of trouble and avoiding falling in the usual pitfalls.
  • exchanging good practices and sharing experiences about wellbeing at work with teachers and education staff from all over Europe.
  • comparing the different approaches of how to reduce the stress cycle.
  • knowing how to seek out connections at school and outside

PLUS:

  • participants will have the opportunity to attend workshops organized by professionals
  • participants will visit sites, museums, monuments and enjoy our tailor-made activities.

What to expect ?

With this course, you will acquire the most fundamental and important concepts of the ecology and ICT at school.

But what does it concretely mean?

  • learning about the concept of Smart Classrooms and its implementation.
    - developing applicable skills and techniques that can be used to establish innovative ESD methodologies with students.
  • boosting up their technology skills for adapting their teaching method and offer students the appropriate support they require in a ‘green’ context.
  • reflecting on how to create tech-savy green projects.
  • reviewing available strategies for introducing digital tools adapted to ESD policies.
  • assessing the right way to implement long-term strategies on ESD in their school.
  • exchanging good practices and sharing experiences with teachers and education staff from all over Europe.

Day 1

  • Mindfulness and Benevolence at work
  • Burnout recovery and prevention
  • Minimizing significant health issues and long period of burnout
  • Dinner in a typical restaurant
Day 3
  • Session of questions and answers
  • Improving mental clarity and focus
  • Non Violent Communication : practicing benevolence between colleagues
  • Emotional & Social Intelligence as a deterrent of stress
  • Building a culture of Values and Expression
  • Monitoring and keeping track of stressors
  • Guided visit of the city. Cultural activities (visit of the local museums) and enjoy the famous homemade traditional food specialties.

  • Adapting policies and respecting teachers’ voice and choice

  • Guidelines for Human Ressources and Administration
Day 5
  • Shifting perspectives and reducing exposure to stress

  • Space for discussion of future cooperation and planning follow up activities
  • Course roundup and final evaluation
  • Validation of learning outcomes and certification ceremony
